Operations
This is how we operate:

People
From an operating perspective, we have:
-
An advisory council, comprising leaders and leadership specialists.
-
A growing community of people interested in leadership matters.
Members of the advisory council will take the lead in respect of the questions we focus on.
They will:
-
Stimulate the associated discussion.
-
Create the associated thesis.
-
Be involved in the associated development of products and services.
The wider community will influence each thesis by their engagement in the associated discussion. The discussions will take place on the ILH Hub.
Discover ways in which you can contribute to the ILH mission.

Schedule
The rate at which we generate the framework and issue theses will be determined by the level of support the advisory council can offer. It is likely that each question will be given two to four weeks of discussion and exploratory time prior to the drafting of the associated thesis.
It may well be possible to explore multiple questions in parallel. Again advisory council bandwidth will be the determinant. The timings in respect of building products and services associated with the thesis will again by determined by the advisory council.
Policy related activity will be opportunity driven. We will continually be on the lookout for such opportunities.

Quality
ILH’s impact will be correlated to the quality of its deliverables. Thus we will have a quality assurance model in place to ensure that our products and services meet certain quality criteria before their release.

Financials
For ILH to make an impact it needs a sustainable model. This requires the generation of income. Our policy is to make our product offerings free so that pricing is not a barrier to impact. To do this we will invite organisations to sponsor our products.
Our services will be charged at competitive rates.
The ILH is open to discussions around patronage where the patron is aligned with our vision, purpose and mission.
Our focus is on impact. Whilst we will be offering paid-for services, we are not interested in embracing the usual 'land and expand’ services company approach. If anything, we will be looking to restrict our engagements to enable us to cover more organisations.
